My family and I have lived on Taylors Island for 20 years now. Palm Beach Willies is the only restaurant there now. I moved to Cordova going on 3 years now. My husband and I decided to drive an hour away to try to prime rib special that is offered on Thursday night. We offered my 85 year old grandmother to come with us. We all ordered the Prime Rib special and it was very tough, it took my grandmother about 15 minutes to chew one little bite. She got it cooked medium rare so it should not have been that tough. The baked potato was definitely not baked it was microwaved and gross. It was very disappointing to say the least. We received our bill and my Grandmas prime rib (that she didn't eat) was on there, I called the server Trish over and explained that I was not going to pay for a meal that was not eaten she explained to us that she asked( I'm assuming the Manager) and she was informed that they would not take it off. I'm not paying for a meal that was not eaten! I guess the Manager gave her permission to take it off of our check. We usually never complain but when something is not right you should not be charged for it or at least try to make it better. I'm a manger at a restaurant so I was very disappointed in how things were handled. We were never approached by anyone to give an apology or to even offer to make things better. Trish was very attentive and she was a great bartender/ server. We will be back to try something else but never the Prime Rib again.
Great place drinks were cold bar and restaurant were very clean I would recommend to anyone

May have been fine by the locals, after using the restroom, I took a seat while three employees moved past the table I was seated at. Not once asking what I wanted or did I need a menu. I got up and left. Was told the place was good, they never gave me an opportunity to judge that.
